Was on a two-week trip in Hawaii (Waikiki) and besides eating amazing food and visiting must see sights, one of my to-do’s on this trip was to get a tattoo. I was a scatter brain in terms of what I wanted, from a fish hook to a tribal tattoo to a tiki, which initially I wanted on my forearm then decided on my upper arm. Jay recommended Ariel to me and she did such a phenomenal job freehand on my arm and coming up with a design. It was almost like she read my mind! Just love it every minute, and hoping to head back to Hawaii next year to finish it up to my shoulder! My son was there as well getting a tiger tattoo on his forearm and let me tell you, it was beautiful. Love the people there, love the ambiance and not to mention the music selection. I liked this tattoo shop & appreciated how close to my Hilton resort it was. Rachel was the absolute best! She does quick, efficient, quality color work. I had her do a color touch-up on my left leg/ankle area & a new tattoo on my right forearm. I also requested the artificial skin covering to protect my tattoo up to 5 days which she provided. Walked in mid-afternoon to peruse the books and the idea of tattoos. Walked out with a booked same day appointment and excitement. They let us take some time and figure out what we wanted and where. Came back and got both of us done in a quick and timely fashion and great work by Dustin. Our body piercers can do anything from common face & navel, surface, genital piercings to micro dermals. We also carry one of the largest selections of body jewelry on the island.

All artists are licensed by the state of Hawaii which requires extensive medical knowledge on sterilization, skin disorders as well as regular physicals and blood tests. Rock Star Tattoo piercings adhere to strict sterilization practices. We are regularly inspected by the Hawaii state health department, all needles are single use and all medical equipment is tested regularly.
