Dr Christine Jose is a compassionate and kind doctor. I will miss not having her as my primary internist since she is leaving.

I only had this Dr one time and waited months to see her just to have her leave as about 4 of my doctors have. This is a bad situation. One cannot have good care without timely appointments. Poor coverage.

She does not talk much. She is distant and seems to have something else on her mind. Hard to communicate with and does not provide alternatives to help solve my problems.

I waited 6 months to get a new PCP only to be told upon check in that she was leaving and I'd need to get a new one.

This was my second Doctor in a couple of years. They seem to be leaving in droves. Maybe they could be given incentives to not leave. It's a bit difficult to keep changing doctors.

Very disappointed that Dr. Jose will no longer be my primary doctor and must now get used to another new doctor.

Dr. Greg K. Sakamoto was born and raised in the small plantation town of Waialua, located on Oahu’s North Shore. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He received his medical school training at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii followed by an internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program. He then went on to complete his training at the Harvard Medical School Dermatology Residency Program in Boston, Massachusetts, and was the Chief Resident from 2008-2009. After completing his residency, Dr. Sakamoto moved back to Hawaii and has been practicing in his own private practice since 2011. Dr. Sakamoto is an active fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a faculty member for the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, and a member of the American Contact Dermatology Society, and the Hawaii Dermatology Society.

Dr. Paul Takiguchi was born in Hawaii. He completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of Hawaii, and completed his Dermatology training at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Takiguchi has spent the last three decades running a successful full-time private practice in Aiea, Hawaii. He retired from his full-time practice in 2017 and joined Dr. Sakamoto on a part-time basis. Dr. Takiguchi’s wife, Gale, an experienced dermatologic R.N., works alongside Dr. Takiguchi during his clinic hours.
