Founder Alejandro Alvarado was born in Inglewood California to a Salvadorean mother and a Mexican father. Growing up he really enjoyed the dishes his parents and grandparents prepared. His maternal grandmother made Salvadorean food and his paternal grandmother made Mexican food. Alejandro did his fair share of eating it all: Enchiladas, Tamales, Puusaas, Arroz Con Frijoles. Today, he tries to prepare those dishes for you! Our hope is to create authentic Mexican food that brings people together and makes their bellies smile.

The flavors were so so good. I ate it all!! I also ordered a Paloma from the bar. It was also delicious with fresh grapefruit juice. Overall service was fast and great. There was even live music. A unexpected pleasant surprise. Now that I've been I understand what the hype is all about. Also, bonus there's parking in the back. Looking forward to going again!

The carne tacos were excellent and fresh tasting. Flavorful meat, fresh onions and cilantro.

Beans were also really good as well as the rice. Next time I think I'll be asking for double rice.

The food was excellent and service was fantastic. We had the Pollo en Mole and the Carnitas Chimichanga. The mole was smooth and rich, with a good balance of sweet and spicy. The salsa was perfect; not too spicy so that everyone can enjoy it. The fresh guacamole was creamy and delicious.
