When you stay at Waimanalo Beach Cottages, you’re only a couple of minutes from beautiful Waimanalo Beach. With its azure blue waters, relaxing waves, and sparkling white sands, this beach is rarely crowded. On weekdays, you might find that you have the beach entirely to yourself.

At Waimanalo Beach Cottages, we offer nine unique vacation cottages. Our cottages include all the modern amenities you've come to expect, including free WiFi, flat-screen TV, and cable. Each cottage also has a seating area, kitchen, and private bathroom, with a shower and bath. Private parking is included, as well. There are a variety of diverse activities you can enjoy when you stay at Waimanalo Beach Cottages. Relax on Waimanalo Beach. Visit Waimanalo Bay State Park. Play a few rounds of golf at Olomana Golf Club. You'll also have the opportunity to try yoga, pony rides, or fishing.

Waimanalo is one of Oahu’s best kept secrets. With pristine and secluded beaches, plenty of hiking trails with stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere, Waimanalo is the best place on the island for the whole family to relax and explore.

We had such a great 2 weeks here, with 12 of us total. If you want to get away from the bustle of Waikiki, this is a great place. 2 minute walk to the beach, and we got our money's worth of boogie board and bodysurfing every day.

Currently spending 2 weeks in this great little place that is definitely off the beaten path. We are in cottage #1 which is a simple little efficiency that is clean and well appointed with everything we need.

4worldlovers: Manoa Cottage was founded in 1994 when Sandra Shim transformed her own family residence into an eight-bedroom care home. As the need for care grew, she decided to expand the care home’s capacity. As the adjacent properties became available, she created the 3-cottage care home that exists today. This expansion started as Sandra noticed the “need for good care”. She aimed to provide this with 24-hour care for care home and expanded level residents, while creating a familiar, home-like environment.


As the level of expanded care grew, so did Manoa Cottage. In 2012, the company opened up Manoa Cottage Kaimuki, their Skilled Nursing Facility, which houses 27 residents. Manoa Cottage Kaimuki specializes in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care and provides expanded care with 24-hour nursing staff.

Creating a home-like care environment for the residents at Manoa Cottage and Manoa Cottage Kaimuki has been fulfilling for Sandra as well as her family, which has been involved in growing the company throughout the years. Their goal is to create a loving, safe, and comfortable environment for their residents.

4worldlovers: We are beachfront! Our protected beach is perfect for swimming, relaxing, and snorkeling. During low tide, walk on the exposed coral reef. The reef also has some tide pools you can get a close up look at. Soft sand to lay on or play in. During high tide, the coral reef and sand are covered, making it was perfect time to take the inflatable boat out.

Our beachfront home has a walkable coral reef that is one of our most unique aspects. We've seen people do sunrise yoga on it! It's also perfect for fishing off of. The protected beach creates a beautiful ecosystem in front of our house. You can often find a few Hawaiian monk seals laying out on our beach. These creatures are incredibly beautiful and docile. If you're lucky, breaching whales can be seen off in the distance. During low tide, you can explore the tide pools on the reef.

Our house has an open concept kitchen / living room / dining room, perfect for gathering all your friends and family in (although we have a feeling you'll be outside most of the time!). We have a huge outdoor dining table on the lanai for group meals, drinks, or games. House is retro themed with vintage travel posters & pillows.

Quick drive to Turtle Bay for fine dining at Roy's Beach House, golfing, full service spa, salon, and gym. Or head south to Kualoa Ranch for a Hollywood movie site tour (Lost, Jurassic Park, etc), horseback ride tour, ATV tour, or kayak tour.

We're directly across the street from the Polynesian Culture Center (PCC). BYU is within walking distance, as is the Laie Hawaii Temple.

Large grassy, Hawaiian landcsaped yard shared with other side of duplex. You have access to laundry, beach toys, snorkels, and inflatable boat. You have your own parking in front and your own beachfront lanai, grill, beach chairs, etc.

This is a 60s North Shore beachfront cottage. We take pride in our family home and maintain it regularly; however, if you are expecting brand new construction this is not the home for you. We would suggest staying in Waikiki.

As with any beachfront home, tides are directly related to the weather, moon phase, time of day, and time of year. We have a tide chart available for you to use, and can refer you to some apps that have live up-to-date tide forecasts.

The outside washer/dryer and yard are shared by the other side of the duplex.

We have space for a maximum of two (2) cars to park on the property. Other cars can use street parking, or park at Polynesian Culture Center.
